EWB celebrates 100 volunteers, 100,000 volunteer hours and $1,000,000

A celebration on September 2, 2004 marked three important milestones in Engineers Without Borders' short history—100 volunteers sent overseas to contribute over 100,000 hours of their time, and $1,000,000 of new funds raised for international development work. Over 150 supporters and volunteers who were instrumental throughout EWB's first four years gathered in Toronto at a evening event hosted by McKinsey & Company.

Sector-leading partners WaterAid and ITDG among those added for 2005

Engineers Without Borders volunteers will work with at least eight new partner organizations in 2005; most notable are WaterAid and Intermediate Technology Development Group who are leaders in their respective sectors.
