International Awards
Technology Benefiting Humanity Award, Tech Museum
The Tech Museum recognized EWB among 230 applicants for our use of technology to benefit people who need it most.
United Nations World Summit on Information Society ICT4D Award
Awarded for the important contributions of our Computer and Livelihood Training Centre Project in the Philippines.
Global Junior Challenge Award
In recognition of EWB's Scala Program for its role in providing computer and livelihood training to Filipino youth.
National Awards
Public Policy Forum Future Leaders
In May 2007, EWB was presented with the Public Policy Forum’s prestigious Future Leaders Award. The award celebrates EWB’s contributions to Canadian public policy and our commitment to civic engagement.
International Co-operation Award, CCIC
The Canadian Council for International Co-operation recognized EWB for our extensive role in educating Canadians about international development.
International Co-operation Award, CIDA/CME
This is one of Canada's most prestigious international development awards, celebrating excellence in development programs.
Forces Avenir Grand Prize
The École Polytechnique de Montréal, McGill University and Concordia University chapters received this award in recognition of their dedication to educating high school students about international development.
Canadian Project Excellence Awards
In recognition of the Scala Project, a project in partnership with the Philippine Department of Social Welfare and Development, EWB was presented with the Canadian Project Excellence (CPEX) Social Impact Award.
Canada's Top 40 Under 40
Parker Mitchell and George Roter, founders and CEOs of EWB, were named as among Canada's top 40 young leaders in their respective fields.
Our members have also received many awards for the important social contributions made while in EWB.
