What's New at Engineers Without Borders

Join in as we send-off our newest volunteers!

For the last month, our newest volunteers have been working hard to prepare for their 14-month placements in Africa.

Through intense 12-hour days and countless sessions, Brian, Devon, Alyssa, Mina, Marie-Claire, Anthony, Joanne, and Valerie have learned a lot about the many challenges poverty presents. Even for a seasoned development worker, this is sometimes a complex and overwhelming task.

However, this group has risen to the challenge. They have shown impressive critical thought and proven problem solving capacity – and it is for this reason that we want your help in showing them how proud we are.

We hope you will join us in sending these new volunteers a message of encouragement and thanks as they take a big step forward to improve the lives of rural families in Malawi, Ghana, Burkina Faso and Zambia.

When they leave Canada this weekend, nothing will mean more to them than having hundreds of well-wishes from EWB’s network both at home and overseas.

Send a message to our newest volunteers now

We want to show these eight leaders that the entire EWB community believes in their work. So, take a moment now and wish them well as they begin their new role in Africa.

These volunteers have the potential to create lasting changes for thousands of rural Africans. After a challenging month of preparation, you can help make sure they know firsthand that we support the work they are headed to do.

Thank you for your help!
