Bahareh Seyedi in Burkina Faso

Originally from Iran, shortly after moving to Canada, Bahareh found herself at McGill University studying Electrical Engineering. At some point during her studies she came across Engineers Without Borders. She could relate to this group as they discussed similar issues to what she had experienced during her time in Iran. One thing led to another and she found herself working on an IT project with this group in the Philippines. Eager to learn more about international development, next she found herself working on her final year engineering project in Central America.

Now that she has graduated, she is off to Burkina Faso in West Africa for a duration of one year to work on a rural energy development project.
