Miles Making a Difference Right Here at Home
Engineers Without Borders volunteers inspire high school students across Canada to become model global citizens and ambassadors for social change.
To build a sustainable future, raising awareness of the urgency of development among the next generation of leaders is essential. That is why EWB volunteers run a High School Outreach Program, targeting students aged 12-16 to learn about development issues.
Our 'Water for the World' and 'Food for Thought' interactive workshops have been run in schools across the country. Thanks to Aeroplan Member support EWB volunteers have reached more than 20,000 students. Participants of our 'Water For The World' and 'Food For Thought' interactive workshops are encouraged to become passionate about the need for change and well-equipped to turn their good intentions into impact.
