Volunteer Profile: Risako Shirane

Risako Shirane, a fourth-year Global Health student, has stepped into the position of VP Member Learning this year at the University of Toronto Chapter. Her conviction that the attainment of a truly just and equitable world requires significant attitude and behavior changes in the developed societies motivates her to deliver a learning program at the chapter. She hopes to empower her chapter-mates, as her involvement with EWB always has, to take small but important steps to achieve social change.
