Transparency and Accountability

EWB has achieved a number of successes, and testimonies from our partner organisations and others attest to that .

But EWB does not rest on these laurels. We regularly ask independent evaluators to assess EWB for valuable outside opinions on the quality of our work today and the direction of our work tomorrow.

We are fortunate to have had some of the worlds experts in development among our assessors, like Sakiko Fukuda-Parr and Ian Smillie. Both are well known authors who are leaders in their fields.

As part of our commitment to transparency, we give you direct access to their full reports. Some quotes:

"The most interesting part of the EWB approach for me was that it is doing more to take capacity development as an objective systematically than any other development organization I have seen."
Sakiko Fukuda-Parr

EWB has shown great skill in the recruitment, selection, training and placement of volunteers. They do add value, and they are valued by their partner organizations. The organization is poised in many ways to do much more."
Ian Smillie

CIDAs funding is a wise investment. As well, it connects CIDA with another opportunity to learn about newer, innovative programming and how its accomplished."
Robert Mitchell
