The 2009 report takes an approach like no other in EWB’s 10 year history. In a sophisticated voice, it tells the story of our operational excellence during a difficult economic climate, the critical problem-solving capacity which makes EWB’s so unique, and the positive impact we had on rural African families in 2009.

Successes such as our innovative agriculture training program in Northern Ghana, helping thousands of farmers access the opportunities needed to turn their small farms into profitable businesses, to feed their families. Or the water tap monitoring system we helped refine, bringing clean water back to some of Malawi’s most vulnerable communities.

The 2009 Annual Report also highlights our newly refocused programmatic initiatives, both in Africa and right here at home. With strong priorities and clearly articulated strategies, we are poised to scale up our work and reach even more African communities.
