Take action today on EWB Day!
5 March, 2010 @ 15:20
This year, March 4 – 6th are some of the most important dates on the EWB calendar as they represent National EWB Day!
As part of National Engineering Month, this year's EWB Day events are marking the commitment that engineers make to serve the world, by engaging thousands of Canadians with their role in Africa’s future. You too can get involved, by taking a simple action contributing to prosperity in Africa.

We aspire to forge a new relationship between Canada and Africa – free from the perception that African communities are impoverished and helpless. Each day our volunteers in Zambia, Burkina Faso, Ghana and Malawi see first hand the vibrant, innovative and resilient nature of rural families. With the necessary opportunity, we know that Africans have the power to drive their futures forward.
Today more than ever, EWBers are working to share this with Canadians, and connect them to inspiring nature of African communities.
We know that Canadians can create the necessary opportunities for rural families to lead the lives they’d hoped for. So today, from St. John’s to Vancouver, our members are engaging thousands of Canadians with these actions.
